Middle School Spring Training

The program will run as a combination of strength and conditioning, wrestling, drilling, mindset, and intensity. The objective of the program is to provide your child with a genuine wrestling experience that will improve their work ethic, confidence, courage, injury prevention, coachability, mat awareness, and general wrestling skill. As club we believe this specific targeted age group have now made the decision. That they are ready to commit to this sport and take it to the next level. We intend to get them ready for middle school competitive competition and prepare for high school level work outs. This will be a combination of styles: Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco.
Ages: COED Current 5th going into 6th -8th Graders
Current 8th graders also have the option to join High school practices and events. Please reach out to either Head coach to be added to email list.

Reminder if competing in freestyle events must acquire full athlete usa membership.
Dues Include:
Practice with multiple instructors
Gear Package - Shirt
Coaches present at freestyle competitions as schedule on calendar.
Practice Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm-7:30pm (calender on home page)
First week we will practice Tuesday and Wednesday as we have our Youth Folkstyle Banquet on 3/7.
Coaches: This program will be run by the EHS High School and Eaglecrest Wrestling Club Staff. The staff brings a diverse skill set, with a wealth of experience working with all ages and levels of wrestlers (coach’s bios on Coach page above).

Current USA Membership is REQUIRED
USA Wrestling Memberships are required as we are a sanctioned club. This must be obtained prior to registration, as registration will require the card to be uploaded. This is a great benefit for both the club and your child as a secondary sports insurance.
